HYPE Student Ministries is Maranatha's Youth Ministry for ages 12 through 21. Meeting every Sunday. HYPE STUDENT MINISTRIES HOLY YOUTH PERSUING EXCELLENCE HYPE is an acronym for Holy Youth Pursuing Excellence, we exist to challenge, teach, and train students to discover God's Word for themselves. We are passionate about raising up new leaders! HYPE Student Ministries challenges students to know God and walk obediently. Teaching them to study God's Word passionately. Training them to lead others in the power of the Holy Spirit. And providing biblical discipleship through Bible Study materials, conferences, seminars, and camps. We offer a wide range of Bible Study resources that are designed to help you to establish your students in God's Word. HYPE Student Ministries exists to equip young adults to use, teach, and train the principles of Inductive Bible Study so that people may know God through His Word.

Senior Saints RESPECT The Bible has a lot to say about respecting those who are older. Job 12:12 says, “Wisdom is with aged men, with long life is understanding.” Proverbs 16:31 says, “The glory of young men is their strength and the honor of old men is their gray hair.” Proverbs 20:29 says, “A gray head is a crown of glory; it is found in the way of righteousness.” First Timothy 5:1-2 says, “Do not sharply rebuke an older man, but rather appeal to him as a father . . . to the older women as mothers.” The Bible also has a lot to say about caring for those who are older. Psalm 68:5 says, “A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows is God in His holy habitation.” James 1:27 says, “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress.” First Timothy 5:3 says, “Honor widows who are widows indeed.”

Dear Maranatha Family, The Corona Virus has become a worldwide concern and is on everybody’s mind. We want you to know as a church staff, we are continuing to monitor the situation closely. We do not have any plans to cancel any of our regularly scheduled services or gatherings. However, various events around the country being postponed or canceled to contain the spread of the virus. Again, we are focused on staying updated on the latest information in regard to COVID-19. The staff already does a terrific job of maintaining cleanliness at our facilities. We will continue to disinfect and clean each item in the children’s room, HYPE, Chapel and sanctuary before services. We will be spraying and disinfecting highly trafficked surfaces like door handles, countertops, etc. Several bottles of hand sanitizers at various locations around the church will be available for use. Please partner with us to make sure MWC remains a safe and healthy place for people to gather. If you are not feeling well feel free to stay home and call for the Elders of the church to pray with you. You are advised to cover your mouth with your forearm when coughing or sneezing. Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds at a time with soap. Use good common sense and hygiene products. We will keep you updated should we need to take any additional measures in response to the Coronavirus.
